no answers but dreams can lead the way

October 3rd, 2017

what to do with stuff?

In this dream, neighbor Larry Smith sits in a lawn chair placing mechanical parts into groups and waiting for instructions of what to make from the parts.  He organizes piles of car pipes and plumbing couplings, large and small bolts and several types of wrenches.  Larry’s face reminds me of my family and friends.  He earnestly looks around, wishing aloud that he’d found instructions to build something from the collected things. Captain Kangaro

Captain Kangaroo was on TV when I was in kindergarten, and I didn’t want to miss it.  My mother warned that if I got to school late, her note would tell my teacher TV made me late.  I didn’t care, and I was late.

Recipe to raise negativity

August 22nd, 2017

Pip’s gauntlet

June 27th, 2017

looking at him makes me laugh

Life can be funny without trying to be funny.  My Chihuahua, Pip, has been surviving a serious eye problem, which requires drops and oral pain medication several times a day. He’s wearing what my friend calls, ‘the cone of shame,’ a blue headdress tied with a bow, intended to keep him from rubbing his eye.  It’s sad to see him in that, but it’s funny too, which made me consider the benefits of humor. right or happy?

June 20th, 2017

not everything has to be a battle

Someone told me that roots of communication obstacles came from our families of origin.  I agree that environment plays a gigantic role in how people communicate.  It’s also possible to retrain ourselves to expand positive communication. Sometimes it’s just about silence. Continue reading “right or happy?” »
